Hey, Hi, Hello - I’m Nel!

I’m a local Christchurch gal with a love for weddings—and an even bigger love for dogs.

I grew up with Cocker Spaniels in our family, and have since had two gorgeous Springer Spaniel crosses of my own. Our current pup, Sunny, is truly part of the family (she even made it to the top of our wedding cake!).

Logistics, planning, and attention to detail are second nature to me as I work as an Operations Manager for a residential construction company— making peoples dream homes become reality - and now I’m here to help with your dream wedding day!

Recently I chaperoned my best friend’s dog to her micro wedding. I picked him up, took him for a groom, dressed him in his floral collar and made sure he had the rings attached to it —yes, really! Helping out that day, and then planning my own wedding, I realised how tricky it can be to include your dog when everyone you trust is already part of the celebration.

So I created The Bridal Paw-ty to do just that: offer professional, loving dog chaperone services so your furry family member can be part of your wedding, while you relax and enjoy every moment knowing they’re in safe, capable hands.

I truly believe that dogs are a huge part of our lives, and they deserve to be part of our biggest moments too.
